Señora Cocina is a Mexican restaurant in Los Cabos (San José del Cabo); open Mon–Sun 12:30–22:30.
Acclaimed cantina at The Shoppes at Palmilla by Chef Juan Pablo Loza — nationally recognized chef, Best Mexican Young Chef 2005, Seafood Watch partner — serving deeply rooted Mexican home cooking with soul. Señora Cocina is a tribute to the women of Mexico and the kitchens that shaped the country's culinary identity. Set at The Shoppes at Palmilla, it is the personal project of Chef Juan Pablo Loza — a Mexico City native who held senior roles at Las Ventanas al Paraíso, Rosewood Mayakoba, and other Rosewood properties globally before returning to Los Cabos to open his own cantina. Loza was named Best Mexican Young Chef in 2005, is an Ambassador of Sustainable Seafood in Mexico, a certified partner of the Monterey Bay Aquarium Seafood Watch Program, and has appeared on NBC's Today Show. His menu at Señora Cocina travels the breadth of Mexico: popular classics from the central region, bold Yucatán flavours, and dishes made from local Baja farm ingredients. Signature dishes include chicken mole, birria, foie gras taco with mezquite tortilla, yellowtail tartare, and a caprese mexicano with heirloom tomatoes and quesillo. Six complimentary salsas arrive with every table. Cocktails highlight the finest Mexican spirits including rare agave distillates.
